Cates Farm at Cane Creek is a beautiful, tranquil farm located in the rolling hills of Orange County. We are conveniently located about fifteen minutes from Hillsborough, Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and Mebane, and only 45 minutes from Raleigh. Our big red dairy barn provides a stunning backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions, fun and festive family parties, or meetings and retreats. The wheat, corn, soybeans and wildflowers add lovely colors and textures to the landscape. We believe you will love the wide-open spaces, the sunsets, and the fresh country air.

Arrive at 3 PM for setup, rehearsal, and intimate rehearsal dinner under the stars. No rushing, no stress—just the start of your celebration.
Saturday
Your Dream Day- Ceremony, photos, dinner, and dancing—all exactly as you envisioned. With our two get-ready spaces, your wedding party gets ready in comfort.
Sunday
9 am to noon—time to pick up your things and cherish your weekend celebration.
